Red amber with a small white head. Malt, caramel and fruit dominates aroma and taste. Sweet with little or no bitterness.

Den har ikek den typiske tyske hvedeølsmag, mere frugt anes i øllen. Kunne godt have lidt mere profil.

Growing up in Skagen, Rav Larsen was an original, almost always seen down by the harbour, selling amber jewelry and his little paintings from his bike. With a long white beer, one would be wondering if it was Santa Claus summer job, but he was a lot more fit. He spoke French and had apparently been in the foreign legion. I wish this beer had taken some of this into account, maybe a strong Belgian quad would have been more appropriate. As it is, I think this is a bit of a let-down. The colour is very correct, as Rav (Amber) Larsen would have wanted I’m sure, but aside from that, this is far less challenging a beer for such a strong character of a man.

Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2013
Bottle. High creamy off-white lasting head. Hazy red brown body. Sweet candilike malt caramel berries aroma. Sweet flowery sour berries flavor with some lemon and a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long sweet finish.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 18, 2013
Bottle. It’s an unclear, golden beer with a small, dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma is fruity with some sweetness, a faint whiff of yeast, and a tropical fruit syrup touch. The flavor has a faint bitterness as well as tropical fruits, sweetness and a little touch of yeast. Medium to full body. A quite pleasant and easy drinkable beer, but I can’t say it reminds me much of a dunkelweizen. But of course I don’t know if that’s the intention either. And of course it doesn’t matter, beer shouldn’t necessary be brewed to style. 121130

HenrikSoegaard (14175) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2013
Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Light bitter strange flaw flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. Looks and smells nice but tastes bad.
