COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love beer, and we love doing good things. The only thing better than either is both. So, for every bottle of this ESB (extremely satisfying beer) sold, 25 cents will be donated to PCC Farmland Trust to help preserve local farmland forever. Pretty cool, huh?

luttonm (6550) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Skagit River Brewery, Mount Vernon. Clear, amber brown, stringy head. Brown malt aroma, nicely grainy, simple bittering ale. Ok grain. Solid drinker.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Light malt and light earth aroma. Malt and light caramel flavor with light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Light fruitiness lingers with light caramel.

Draft pour pint at Skagit River. A time carb, clear copper pour with a rock foam head and lacing. Sweet and bitter caramel aroma. Flavor is quite bitter, but I can’t hate on a bitter for being bitter. Soft spice, some lemon, somewhat metallic, cool finish. Not bad.

Ferris (16067) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2014
Draft - Light grains. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Bitter citrus and caramel. Bitterness is a bit high without the twiggy bitterness I expect.

mcberko (18390) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 1, 2014
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy dull orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is subtle, with English hops and feint malt backing. Flavour is rather off-putting, with vegetal notes, English hops and metallic notes. Something seems wrong to here as it tastes pretty skunked. Not good.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small white head on there. Nose is slightly toasty, but not all that strong. Taste is moderately toasty and slightly bitter, but fairly unremarkable. OK.

Gerbeer (3845) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 24, 2014
On tap. Pours a dark copper with moderate head. light aromas of grass, toast, and caramel. Flavors are same with sweet malts up front and dry grassy hops to finish. Nothing special though.

3.3
Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 7, 2014
Bomber. Clear medium copper, thicker beige foam lasts. Pleasant earthy, grassy caramel aroma. Too sweet, mostly malty caramel taste, some mild earthy herbalness, barely bitter. Average carbonation, medium bodied, lightly hopped. Nice enough ESB (Essentially Sweet Beer) LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

2.6
Crit (4039) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 16, 2014
Amber, lasting beige head.Intense bead.Bland vaguely sweet fore & mid, medium hop bitterness in finish. 1 dimensional, lacking in malt. One of my least favorite breweries ruining my favorite style. Thought I give the brewery another shot, but nothing has improved.

3.2
WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - APR 22, 2014
Bomber. Pours amber, white head. Nose is grass, berry, caramel. Flavour has caramel, a bit nutty. Definitely PNW but more English than most ESBs up here.
