On Tap at the brewpub. A hazy dark amber/brown with a small light tan head. Fleeting wispy lacing. Malty swet woody aroma and a slight bit of bitering hops. Rather hoppy flavor for an amber, not as sweet as other of the style I thought. Not bad. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2006
Amber colour with a creamy white head. Aroma is caramelly, fairly earthy with a prominent nutty aroma. Nice toasted caramel flavour, bread crust. Malts are quite fresh tasting. Light earthy hops dry out what would otherwise be a bit too sweet a brew.
