Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Rich malt aroma. Chocolate and light roast flavor. Medium bodied. Chocolate and sweet malt lingers with light roast. andrewje41 (3764) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - OCT 10, 2015
Draft pour pint at the brewery. Finally made it here for a beer. Pours a thick black color with w full inch of tan foam head. Roasted malt forward aroma. Delicious porter here. Lighter body, sweet chocolate up front with a more robust coffee like finish. Light cream flavor throughout. Awesome. Ferris (15013) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2014

Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a very dark brown color. Nose is quite roasty and slightly sweet, with just a bit of chocolate coming through. Pretty good. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2014

Dark mahogany color with creamy head. Light aroma of roasted malts.
Smooth, strong roasted malts, a bit of chocolate, strong bitterness.
Pours a dark brown with no head at all. Body was a little thin for my tast. A bit too carbonated, I like Porters to be a little more still. A bit disappointing since the two other beers I had that night were good & solid. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2010
Draft at the brewery. Poured a very dark brown with a fluffy tan head, left lacing as I drank. Aroma is nutty, coffee, roastiness. This feels creamy and smooth on the palate, very nice. Tastes of coffee, nuts, roast, a bit of acidicness, char. Has a bit of a twinge of what I think is DMS, kind of a vegetal note, which knocked it down a notch or two for me. Still pretty solid, though. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2009

smell is faint, cocoa, weak coffee, and a touch of vanilla.
taste is dry, cocoa powder, coffee, and roasted nuts, ends dry with just a smidgen of bitterness. riversideAK (6260) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAY 19, 2009
Roasty sweet aroma. Dark brown pour, thin head. Lots of roasted malts in the flavor with underlying sweetness, a touch of bitterness in the finish. Pretty tasty.
