Skagit River Brewery, Mount Vernon. Soapy foam on very clear copper orange. Wort-malt aroma. Grainy, banana malt, full mouth bittering. Classic old school IPA. Tart body, sweet and full. OK. liquidhedonism (289) - Beaverton, Oregon, USA - OCT 5, 2014
On tap at the brewpub. Aroma is citrousy and piney, with hints of resin. Mouthfeel and taste is bitter throughout to a long finish. A bit too bitter for my tastes, but still a great IPA. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Used to drink all the time back in the dizzle. Nice forward SIPA with hints of pine juice, hop bitterness, and a touch of straw. Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 17, 2014
Bomber. Clear orange, big fluffy white head slowly settles and lasts. Aroma of tropical fruity hops and mild caramel. Bitter floral grapefruit taste dominates, very faint C-malts increase slightly as it warms. Average carbonation, medium bodied, aggressively hopped. All grapefruit, stays floral, some late citrus, bitter dry end. NFL (Not For Lagerboys) Gerbeer (3754) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 8, 2013
650 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper with light head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of candied oranges, rubber, and other tropical fruit. Flavors of bitter orange peel, brown sugar candy, toasted malts and resin. Long bitter finish.

Bottle - Tropical fruits and some resin. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Light tropical fruits, big hit of leafy bitterness and a resinous and orange finish. Not bad, but nothing special. I have the feeling fresh this would rate much better. radagast83 (8069) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 6, 2013
22oz bottle, poured a translucent dark orange color with a large foamy white head - lots of good lacing on this one. Aroma was nice resin pine, with tart citrus grapefruit notes. Caramel notes, floral notes. Flavor was a nice pine, with juicy citrus notes. Tasty. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Bottle @ Richard’s tasting. Orange pour with a white head. Grassy nose, popcorn, and some sweet malt. Orange peel, water, and some pine. Flavor is papery, grassy, and sweet. Orange peel, caramel, and popcorn. Light pine. Meh. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 29, 2013
651mL. Pours a clear, bright orange. Webby, thick lacing. Nose is citrus hops, butterscotch. Taste is spicy hops, nutty bitterness, feels like a rye IPA. Maltier, nutty bitterness. Solid. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Shared bomber poured to snifters with a coppery/amber color, white bubbly head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma was malty, caramel sweetness, no esters to speak of, and maybe a touch of vanilla at the back. The flavor appeared thin at first, with soft carbonation not necessarily helping, but the earthy, rind-like and dry hop bitterness gradually grew as if on time-release mode and morphed into somewhat of a palate wrecker for those who love a good hop fix.
