Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy lending it strong notes of grapefruit as well as lighter notes of dust and grass. The flavor is sweet mlaty with strong notes of grass, leading to a dry and very bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2007

Cask @ WABF 2008. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Malty hoppy aroma with some piney hints. Malty hoppy bitter flavor with hints of citrus and also some hints of pine needles. Dry malty hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste. omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2005
Bottled. Hazy red, rich head. Aroma of caramel and grapefruit. Intensely and aggresively hoppy. There’s citrus and licorice and some cookie malt in the background. The finish is tremendously hoppy with enough inky bitterness to kill someone.

(Bottle 65) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a clear, amber golden with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving laces. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with sweetish caramel notes, some fruit and a rather brutal, bitter hoppy finish. Quite unrefined and unsophisticated - just not my idea of a good IPA. 160607 fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 25, 2011
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouversaxo (19522) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2012
Hazy amber color, creamy head. Deep hop aroma, fruity, caramelly, malty, earthy, with manure. Good bodied; strong caramel flavor, some toffee, and a vein of more roasted malts; only some light fruitiness from the strong hopping; there is a moderate sugar residue; the final is maybe even too bitter. Powerful.
Tap @ Taphouse Grill, Seattle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, straw, grass, caramel notes and mt. mcberko (18950) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 28, 2010
On tap at The Taphouse, pours a clear copper. Aroma of hops, citrus, and caramel malt. Flavour follows, with a dry palate. Quite good. Oakes (18794) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 27, 2005
Cask, at the brewery
Got the dregs, so it’s murky as hell. Citrusy, yeasty aroma. It’s like a yeast & hop sandwich so I grabbed a keg. Here it’s still a little murky but not nearly as yeasty in flavour. Nonetheless, it was a little muddled, with fruity notes and diacetyl amidst the hops.
