22oz bottle. Poured a deeper and hazy amber color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, roast, and some earthiness. Tastes of earth, caramel, toast, roast, and some nuttiness.

Taster @ Skagit River Brewpub. Nice and toasty. More red-looking than brown. Slightly more bitter than I would like. I could probably down a few of these with no complaint.

Darkened room made it difficult to get an accurate feeling of its look in the glass. Aroma was that of a brown ale; just not much there but not offensive. Solid toasted bread malt character. Light sweetness with a smooth earth and nut essence.

Brownish red with a nice fluffy head. A little roasted nuts and caramel in the aroma. Nutty caramel malt flavors with an interesting off finish - seemingly a little astringent perhaps.
