Bottle at The Rhino. Pours a clear gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grain. Flavour is malty with a hint of smoke, caramel and an aftertaste that I found a tad weird at first but then settled to a light hop finish. Light bodied. Better then expected, and not very Pilsener-like but I wouldn’t want two in a row. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 14, 2006
Bottle at Rhino. Light gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, reminding me very much of some of the average Euro-lagers that this beer seems to be emulating. Flavour is quite average, typical for the style - not good, not bad, just there. Alcohol comes through a bit too much in the finish. Meh. Damage (77) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 9, 2006
German Pils style. Or is it? Well, it’s just an okay beer. Better than anything by Molson, but then again, what isn’t. (341ml bottle) Eructoblaster (4205) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 28, 2005
Nice dark gold body with a thick but quick fading white foamy head. Boring malty aroma with hoppy, and grainy notes. We can also detect some strange chemical hints. Taste is mostly watery and carries unpleasant metallic notes. There is no aftertaste at all. Really not dign of the German Pilsner style. UPDATED: AUG 26, 2005 Bottle (341ml). Poured mostly clear, bubbly lightly amber-gold with a large slightly off-white fizzy, bubbly head. Aroma was very much of sweet creamed corn and various chemical tones - if there’s hop in there, I can’t sniff it. Taste is corn-sweet, quite can-of-green-beans-on-shelf-too-long tinny, a slightly harsh syrupy and finish with more alcohol insistence than should be expected. Mouthfeel is light and annoyingly cloying. Nothing specific to hate exactly, but I found my nose curling in distaste at each stage.

Somewhat rubbery malt-liquour like aroma. Pours a nice copper gold, white thin head. Adjuncts aplenty. Cornish finish. wnp22 (698) - Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2005
Tasted in Toronto. Obtained from LCBO at Summerhill - the train station. Tasted in English pint glass. Colour is light golden, more yellow. Thin white head. Arona is sweet, tangy, and disgusting. Flavour is a close second to aroma (see: Aroma). iam (369) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 19, 2005
Pours a golden colour with a medium but rapidy diminishing head. Grain malt and grassy aroma. Taste is also grainy maly with some grassiness. Light body. Not bad. This might be good to suck back on a hot summer’s day IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - FEB 9, 2005
Golden color, fizzy white head. Aroma of apples and some grainy malt. Apples again in the flavor with some grainy malt again and a bit of hops, kinda dusty in not a very good way. Lighter bodied. I guess it could be a lot worse. Crockett (1117) - Southampton, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2005
Pours malt liqour gold (kind of like apple juice) with a little white head. Apple sauce aroma. Apple juice flavour. Maybe some cider notes. Was this apple juice? I guess I’ll never know. Grassy, grainy with some vegetable notes. Nice try.
