Bottle. The best brown ale I´ve ever tasted, or to be more correct the best beer called brown ale, as I don´t think it has much to do with a brown ale. It reminds me a lot of some of the better belgian strong ales. Dark brown with huge brown head. Aroma licorice, hopps, sweet toffee. Taste licorice, dried fruits, sweet malts. Brown ale or not it´s a great beer. yespr (49213) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2009

(0.7l) Deep dark brown colored with red hints, little yellow head. Caramelly aroma with chocolate, licorice, yeast and some interesting spiciness, mild coffee also comes up with nice fruits. Medium bodied, soft palated. Flavor is more sweet, licorice with chocolate and caramel, still mild alcohol also present. Aftertaste dries with flowery spinach and lasting licorice.
