Really nice, softly textured bitter. Lovey fresh hops, a bit tangy, citric, with a definite bitterness, Lots of flavour for a beer with only 4% alcohol. Smooth and uncomplicated, but somehow, really works for me. beeebon (467) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2014
Not bad as far as bitters go. It’s got some malt and various citrus like fruits in the taste, just a shame it’s a bit thin and watery. Definitely drinkable but nothing to get excited about. dfearnley (2247) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 21, 2014

500ml bottle in Cot Valley, Cornwall. Clear darkish amber, small head retained. Nice sweet malt/toffee aroma. Flavour classic bitter, good dry hoppiness, decent bite, bit grassy, decent firm carbonation but not too much. Solid ale.

Clear chestnut brown, thin white head; hoppier than expected - grapefruit, lemon alongside solid biscuity malt; nice dry, bitter finish; a clean and well-balanced session bitter. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 2, 2013
Pours a hazy amber colour with a very thin white ring around the glass. Aroma malty, strong(but not overpowering) caramel, fruity, and sweet. Flavour is caramel, mild bitterness, zesty citrus, and a light malty sweetness giving this a great balance. Low carbonation as expected per the style. wekker84 (2390) - etten-leur, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2013

Bottle from Tesco... Very light amber colour. Thin head. Milk roasted smell. Slightly fruittaste, Very smooth. Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Appearance: Clear copper/amber with white finger thick head.
Aroma: Biscuity malt, floral and slightly fruity.
Taste: Low sweetness, medium bitterness and sourness. Pepper/coriander, biscuit, floral, fruity and note of caramel.
Palate: Fairly thick texture, light/medium body, average/prickly carbonation, malty backbone is evident in the abrupt bitter finish alongside a slight citrus tartness.
Comments: Easy to drink and enjoyable. It is what it is a ’session beer’ so on that basis is appealing and worth having again. Left a glass lace.
