500ml Bottle This is my long term favourite beer. It is just sublime. Its only fault is the sometimes spot on, sometimes so so carbonation from Skinners. If they could sort that out it would be perfect!! Aroma, toffee malt and hopes with a citrus zesty note. Appearance is dark amber with as mentioned an unreliable head. Get a good bottle and the head will be thick and creamy to the bottom of the glass. Taste is a malty biscuitness and hop developing into toffee and lastly a orange fruitiness and then a bitter finish.. theres something else in there that i cant quite make out too - theres a lot going on in there- but its all good!!!

Pours a clear bubbly burnt orange with lots of bubbly head that lasts pretty well. Gentle Caramel/fruity malts plus floral hops. How english. Taste is similar. Gentle bitterness from start to finish. Drying. Quite bubbly. Very much to style. Would like a little more sweetness.

DuffMan (10434) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 17, 2012
Bottle, shared with Parksy. Medium amber with a pretty decent white head. Slightly toasty with marmalade hops stepping lightly across the palate. Decent light session ale.

Gerbeer (3754) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 1, 2012
500 ml bottle from 16th St. Pours and orange amber with almost no head. Aromas of cereal and toffee with a bit of hops. Initial malt flavor, followed by cereal, light citrus and hops. Nice enough to have another.

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2012
500ml bottle (best before 28 July 2012) poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 9th May 2012. Light to mid brown in body colour, clear and clean: on top an off-white crown of foaming bubbles. Good malty nose and taste: molasses and malt biscuits stuck together by a mildly hop presence. Almost as good as the cask version: a fine blend of flavours and very, very drinkable.
