Cask (gravity) @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester, England. Ungstrup (38598) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 25, 2006
Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sour malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
A slightly hazy orange beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of English hops giving it a light spicy and floral note, to accompany the fruity notes. The flavor is sweet malty with fruity notes of oranges and peaches, as well as spicy, floral, and slightly dusty notes, leading to a bitter end. OK, but for a Christmas beer I find it boring. joergen (29397) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2006
