COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Occasional;
Skinners Brewery is launching a new, special edition ale for the summer, named after a popular Cornish surfing break, featuring hops that have never before been used in the UK. Lushingtons will be available during May, June, July and August in pubs throughout Cornwall and Devon, as well as nationally through wholesalers and pub companies. It is a zingy, straw coloured, fruity pale ale with an ABV of 4.2% using only Cornish barley alongside three unusual hops sourced from the USA including Belma, which is a new hop being used for the first time in the UK.

7th Nov 2016: cask pint at The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Poured a clear light gold, thin white topping. Slight citrusy leanings in both the nose and taste, floral notes too, subtle all round and not really my thing. Scored objectively.

rauchbier (3867) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2016
Bottle, from Lidl. Gold, thin short lived white head and gentle condition. Initial sweet toffee and caramel in the nose with a gentle fruity hoppiness developing. A little too sweet in the mouth with toffee dominating a low fruit note. Finish is a little earthy but ultimately sweet and unbalanced.
