The ale is distinctive for its hoppy bitterness in both its aroma and its taste. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2012
The Baron. Pint with chicken dinner. Slightly foggy brass, slim head lacing ornately. Rhubarb and custard-ish aroma; gooseberry, sour apple. Sourish tang of fruit; tangerine and lime hints, apple sauce, gooseberry, biscuit, lingering oat and wheat finish; retronasal saline, rhubarb. Better than reasonable. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2012

Shakespeare’s Head Spoons, Holborn. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Okay minerally mild hops. A little juicy citrus - shot down by a bothersome sulphur streak.
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Quite a fruity, light beer with a late hoppy, sharp note, some berry notes, redcurrant perhaps then orange zest in the follow through. I quite enjoyed this one. BeerViking (4712) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2012
