COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask conditioned; Status uncertain
This refreshing, well-balanced, amber-coloured ale is made with 100% Cornish malts and whole hop flowers, resulting in a character where malt, fruit and floral aromas combine with a hoppy, zingy bittersweet taste.

Beese (3210) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2014
Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 4 Apr 2012. Poured a hazy golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of floral hops, minerals and flat malt. Fruity esters in the flavour, with some sherbet and grain. Finish was peaches, honey and straw.

RichTheVillan (8248) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2012
Retro review from Spring 2012 Wetherspoons Beer festival; light brown colour moderately bitter, slight amount of hop average.

ManVsBeer (10954) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2012
The ale is distinctive for its hoppy bitterness in both its aroma and its taste.

DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2012
The Baron. Pint with chicken dinner. Slightly foggy brass, slim head lacing ornately. Rhubarb and custard-ish aroma; gooseberry, sour apple. Sourish tang of fruit; tangerine and lime hints, apple sauce, gooseberry, biscuit, lingering oat and wheat finish; retronasal saline, rhubarb. Better than reasonable.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton. A golden beer with a whitish head. A fairly sweet floral beer in the mouth. Notes of toffee. The aroma is faintly sulphuric. Tastes good with a decent body. Not bad.

Shakespeare’s Head Spoons, Holborn. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Okay minerally mild hops. A little juicy citrus - shot down by a bothersome sulphur streak.

imdownthepub (15334) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2012
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Quite a fruity, light beer with a late hoppy, sharp note, some berry notes, redcurrant perhaps then orange zest in the follow through. I quite enjoyed this one.

3
BeerViking (5048) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2012
Cask at the Pommelers Rest (JDW), dark gold, faint haze, lacy white head, hay and a little toast on the nose, malty body with a light fruit tang, a little honey, and peachy floral notes.
