A pint in river cottage Plymouth.
Nice golden colour, fresh and floral with a hint of a grapefruit. I’m not sure I’d call it a lager,it’s more of a cold carbonated ale.

Surprisingly decent lager. Crisp and good sweet malt with noticable hop presence, not too sure why it is classed as a Golden Ale on here though? imdownthepub (15132) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2013
On keg at The Gurnards Head, Treen, Cornwall. Pale yellow gold, carbonated. Thinnish, malty with a wet cardboard type note, not a great deal of character really. Not for me. madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2012

Bottle 330ml. @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity, green grass, light to moderate yeasty, UK yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, green grass, UK yeast, light citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - fizzy.
Had it on tap on holiday to bude its pale in colour and has a malty aroma and it has a malty limey taste not a bad lager. Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2011
Heavily promoted to the lager market, this keg beer has become widely available in Cornwall. My first sample was mostly of a thin, boring lager at best as uninteresting as the big brands. The second sample of this hazy straw brew was much more problematic, full of diacetyl. Sampling a beer marketed as a surfer beer while at a surfer pub and having this sort of problem is unexpected and disappointing. leaparsons (10695) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2011
Golden with a thin head. Aromas are marmalade with lemon zest. Crisp with green apple. Low malts with lime coming through. Flavours are clean biscuit malts with lime zest and a dry, woody finish. Some sourness with peppery notes. OK.
