Canned. Clear pale golden, brief head. Stinks of rotting vegetables. Sweet and mushy, fizzy and fruity, foul and flawed.

Canned. Pale golden, fizzy head. Rubbery vegetable aroma. Sweetish, bland and fizzy with light body and notes of rubber and compost heap. No bitterness. Really bad.
Earlier Rating: 3/5/2004 Total Score: 1.4
Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Fruity with clean mouthfeel. There's some green vegetables but only very little bitterness. At least they do make a really good version of Royal Extra Stout on this island.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2012 Can 33 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a clear yelow with a white head. Some unclean malts in the nose. Light body, brewing cereal and metal accents. Hardly any hops. Drinkable though. 021110

Bottle 50 cl Golden lager with a fine, small head. Nice hoppiness but a dubious tang of....cleaning fluid. My version of Skol is Romanian, brewed by S.C. United Romanian Breweries, Bucuresti (which probably explains the cleaning-fluid flavours...) 030703

Plastic bottle 100 cl Turkish version at 3.5% ABV by Turk Tuborg. Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Neutral aroma - perhaps some malt. Medium-bodied and lightly sweet - no off-flavours, actually surprisingly clean. Very discreet bitterness. 4/2/5/2/10=2.3 140806

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing!
Pours clear deep golden colour with a small most good lasting white head. Aroma of grains and sweet malt. Taste of sweet malt, grains, watery, not good!

Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: PET Noten: 10,5,6,2,6,3 - 4,45

Can, KL. Sort of a neon urine colour. Almost a bit of limey hop and hints of acetaldehyde. Very bland. Finishes mainly watery. Yawn.
