Appearance is pink or bright red, the head is cream like a very dense. Appealing aroma with blackcurrant, yeast and sourishness. Taste is sweet and sour at the same time, but not as sour as lambics usually are. Obvious blackcurrant taste, and even some raspberry notes. Sweet fruity blackcurrant-finish. Medium body, soft in the mouth.
Tap @ CBF, 2010.Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2010
Hazy, light muddy pink-red. No head. Aroma is sweet, lots of fresh black currants. Medium carbonation, light and softly creamy texture. Flavour is very fruity, sweet, light zesty, good fresh black currants. As a fruit beer, this is actually very nice. Not a lambic, though.
On tap. Hazy reddish amber with a small and creamy off-white head leaving laces. Lightly tart and druity berry-like aroma. Light-bodied, a distinct tartness and notes of blackcurrant. Finishes mainly dry with a late light sweetness. 080510 stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - JUL 5, 2011
