COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden ale with distinct hop character and a refreshing bitternes, added English ale malt as well as German Münchner and caramel malts. Powerful and well hopped.

Alkoholstyrke 6.3%. Humlen længe leve….

Bottled 500ml (Fine Foods, Kastrup, BB 04/2013)
Pale amber color, small white head. Hayish hoppyness in the aroma, also some grainy notes. Medium-bodied. Sweetish malty flavor, harsh, some hops. Quite unbalanced mix of sweetness and hops. More English than American IPA.

SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 2, 2011
50 cl bottle, from SuperBest Østerbrogade. Pours medium amber with a moderate, mostly creamy off-white head that clings to the sides of the glass leaving patchy lacing. Aroma is toasty and grainy malts, with plentiful herbal, citrus and somewhat floral hops. Flavor starts with sweetish grainy malts, complemented by brash citrus, spruce and slightly grassy hop character, leaves an astringent, dry finish with a grainy aftertaste. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Drinkable and mostly pleasant øverall.

lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 29, 2011
500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear light yellow colour with a small, foamy head. Aroma of floral hops and strong toffee with grass. Flavour of floral hops, malts, toffee and grass. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Reminds me of a Premium Lager really, quite far from your typical IPA.

[email protected] Royal Hotel Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a clear darkish gold colour with a medium size white head. Pretty insipid nose with some citrus notes and muffled hop protruding. Similar story in the taste with some sweetness mingled with the somewhat subdued bitterness.A drinkable if rather lacklustre and forgettable IPA.
