Clear chestnut, airy offwhite head. Malty aroma, hints of yeast. Flavour has malt, caramel and notes of brown sugar. Perhaps hints of the promised pine twigs (sic!) and cinnamon. Finishes with a weird sourish, slightly metallic note. Mediocre at best like most other beers from this brewery.

(2) Not worth trying. Not a christmas beer - although - it is much better than a Tuborg - that being said - I expected more. TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - JUL 22, 2015
Nice persistent foam. Smells really comfortable hard roasted malt, nuts and caramel. Easy taste of caramel released in a deep fruity flavor of e.g. raisin, plum, cloves, hazelnuts and a little cinnamon. Slightly sour tang which may come from pine needles. It should definitely be served at 8-10 degrees, as many of its flavors are well hidden among all the other good, thereby risked disappearing at too cold serving. And it would be a shame, because this is simply a great Christmas ale. 20107589 (748) - randers, DENMARK - MAR 27, 2015
