COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tasted 2008-04-15. Fresh bottle. Pours dark brown / back with light brown / beige head. Aroma isn’t much. A little coffee - a little fart (but not ’off-bottle’-ish). Flavour: Mild coffee, roasted malts, nice balance - moderately bitter. Decent, but nothing great!

Bottle 50 cl. I quit enjoyed this one, even this is not a world class Sweet Stout. Large beige bubbly head that mostly lasted. Somewhat clear body with particles in flow and a mahogany color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee, oat, hint of smoke. Over the palate came liquorish, light dried fruity notes and light underlying floral and spice. And again sweet chocolate, coffee, brown sugar. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and somewhat dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with a light notes of bitterness. Liquorish and coffee like finish with an average duration.

It’s kind of a beginners stout with it’s sweet and round and shortlasting taste. Good idea to use stinging nettle too sweet and round the taste
