Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Andrej. Shared with him and Max. Pours black, medium beige head. Roasted, malty, coffee, some sweetness with lots of bitterness in finish. Dry. Average carbonation. Medium bodied. midovark (1177) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 1, 2017
On tap. Black colour with off-white colour. Roasted malts, strong earthy notes and slight hops in aroma. The same notes appear in taste, making up a good combination. Relatively long, coffeeish finish and medium body. I very much liked it. jmgreenuk (10520) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JAN 12, 2017
Tap at Neked Csak Dezső!, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, big liquorice. The flavour is moderate liqouice bitter with a big smoky roast liquorice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty one dimensional. It was like sucking the liqouice Liqouice Allsort and I always left those to the end anyway!

Kicsi, nagyon tartós hab, Fekete szín. Kávés, pörkölt malátás illat. Száraz, kávés, pörkölt malátás, aszalt gyümölcsös ízvilág, nem túl hosszú lecsengéssel. Közepesen testes, enyhén keserű és szénsavas.Nem rossz!

Bottle at home. Very dark brown, almost black colour. Big brown head disappears fast. Nose is light iron, some sourness. Taste is roasted malts, with a metallic sour aftertaste. Not very strong but still not very pleasant. Overall decent. promontor (165) - HUNGARY - JUL 28, 2016
0.33l bottle from the brewer. As black as it can be. head is nice coffee-brown. I tasted two bottles with about 2 week difference, the foam vanished quickly during the first on and was much bigger and more persistent during the second taste. Aroma is mostly dark chocolate or even cocoa powder, with a hint of citrus component.
Silky and hardly carbonated body for the first taste, somewhat more carbonated for the second time but still on the "mild," side. Ideal for my taste anyway. Roasted coffee and chocolate are fighting out, one sip is won by coffee, the next by chocolate. Some fruity component also present, grapefruit or orange. A bit of Guinness-like sourness also comes out occasionally.
Very nice, silky palate. No alcohol in the taste. Roasted, bitter aftertaste, mild but persistent. Well composed, well-balanced: the hopiness nicely balances the strong roasted/chocolate character. Carbonation could be a bit stronger and the head sometimes goes away too quickly (I also had a glass on tap in Dezső) but otherwise a very nice try. Hope to have more...
