Mørk brun tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lukter vingummi, karamell og krydder. Fyldig. Søtbitter smak, brent karamell, sjokolade og alkohol. Middels lang avslutning.

hotstuff (5232) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Rated on 7-11-2015 (Bottle) The appearance is a small beige head that mostly diminished, opaque body and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is fruity, spicy and caramel malt. The flavor is semi-sweet, fruity, caramel malt, and spicy. The mouthfeel of this beer is very smooth and this beer is light bodied. A quaffable beer that is easy drinking, but the flavor did not live up to what it should have given this beer’s style.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque except at the edges dark red brown colored body. The mild aroma was old ale and caramel malt. The mildly vinous mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering dark malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of old ale mildly vinous sweet brown malt and caramel. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

rdb84 (622) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2015
Dark brown pour with soapy light brown head. Hearty, (winter) fruity aromas: prune marmalade, blackberry marmalade, overripe cherries, oak. Dense aroma. Taste: starts relatively sweet and fruity, winter (dark) fruit. Development is oily, creamy, dark chocolate, whole wheat bread, red wine notes. Medium bodied. Aftertaste is slightly oily, sticky, hint of cherry.

Arayaga2 (2218) - portland, Oregon, USA - APR 8, 2015
Dark brown, and headless. Aroma is faint, but contains apple esters, and some tootsie roll. Same in taste, with more chocolate, and some cola notes. $5/750 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
