Clean golden colour, medium white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and other sour fruits, yeast, hay, hops. Dry lightly sweet taste with light hoppy bitterness in finish and aftertaste. Medium body and fizzy carbonation. Decent tripel. Beggard (65) - - MAR 22, 2016
Not very intensive aroma but pleasant, dark for a trippel, taste of caramel with slight feel of alcohol. Very pleasant on a tong. Overall a solid Belgian beer

Bottle. Nose is malty, spicey, honey, , hint of toffee apple, yeast, bread, banana, caramel. Very appealing. Taste is malt, honey lots of spice, apricot, apples, autumnal fruits, citrus peel, vanilla leading to a yeasty, peppery finish. Mouthfeel is slick.
This is a fantastic beer and one that is both underrated and overlooked. It has real balance and complex and subtle flavour profile. Superb. LLaurin (481) - Motala, SWEDEN - FEB 28, 2016
The Slaapmutske is a neat clear gold appearance in some haze with a white head. Nose is somewhat discrete but okay. Taste is malty with hoppy notes of citrus (pommerance ) and of course yeast. Palate lasting and enjoyable fading in malty notes. melush (4065) - SPAIN - FEB 25, 2016

Donkergeel bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is duidelijk beter en sterker dan de bio versie, bitter hoppig en fruitig, licht zoet en krachtig, citrus en abrikoos. jookos (6762) - FINLAND - JAN 22, 2016

Orange hazy. Fruity yeasty nose. Dry apricots, malty, some grass. Med bodied, bit astirngent, or tart bittery. Very flavourful. Stone fruits, yeasty spices, dry finish. Flavourful, quite easily drunk tripel.
Proto triple, but unfortunately in the poor sense. Brewed with too much sugar and too filtered. Not dry enough, although spiced well from the yeast used. Alcoholic but admittedly warming. Christmas almost, a little indulgent with its shameless alcohol and light bubble. So yes, a nightcap, although still not necessarily a good beer. Bottle 33cl. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus fruit peels and malts. The taste is bitter with touches of spices that get stronger in the aftertaste. sir__v (2629) - FRANCE - DEC 22, 2015
Bottle @ home from Geers, Gent - BE. Color: clear golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: hint of citrus. Lime and lemon notes. Belgian yeast and caramel malt. Taste: full body of caramel malt with good sweetness and hint of lemon and citrus. Amazing balance. Good yeast finish. Amazing attenuation. Aftertaste: good wet bitterness and belgian yeast. Not so sweet. Very nice beer !
