Oh good Lord is this ever a fantastic nightcap of a beer. I like ’em sweet and big this certainly is both!
Appearance: Cloudy orange body with lot of carbonation.
Smell: Citrusy orange, yeast and honey.
Taste: Apples and plums and beady and honey and so much sharp sugar character. I only got to sample it and I got all that. I NEED more of this beer!!! ARRG! I will get this beer again and write more but I have to tell you, this one is terrific, with its nice dry pucker inducing finish. mmm.
Mouthfeel: effervescent and creamy but dry in the end.
Drinkability: This is certainly a nightcap not a session beer. That said it is mighty tasty and goes down very easily.
Hope this is helpful.

12 oz bottle Malt of The Earth Beer club. Pours a semi hazy copper with a large foamy head. Nose is complex spicey and has lots of Blegian yeast, bananna, wheat, vanilla, pepper. Taste is just like the aroma with a very fizzy bananna, cinamon & pepper finish. A refreshing and tastey drink. LordCrabapple (109) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2012
Slaapmutske Tripel is a fine strong Belgian pale ale, but one should sip it! Nice and thick, not too much carbonation, sweet and flavourful. But what’s this? A strong hop bitterness? Rather impressive that, I thought. It gives it a nice edge. Yes, this is quite hoppy, and the hoppiness results in a pleasing balance. Quite delightful! dwyerpg (6214) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 1, 2007
Not too much aroma, and interestingly enough has less spice than a saison I just had before this. A good tripel, just not great.

bottle. pours a deep hazy orange with a huge 3 finger white fluffy head. This comes down to a quarter inch throughout... wonderful spice, pepper, lemon and yeast aromas. medium body over the palate with spices, light citrus fruits as well as banana. nice finish that really highlights the complexity behind the various flavors. belgianbeerboy (1) - BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2010 does not count

Aroma of citrus, bread and spices. Pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Tastes of fruit, bread and earth with a warming alcohol finish. Bought this by mistake but don’t regret it. Exceptionally drinkable. Sissio (1663) - Orsenigo, ITALY - FEB 27, 2017
