The only redeeming feature to this atrocity is the slightly amusing name. At first sight, the branding and label says "stay away, I am a terrible beer". Yet we persevere. I was unlucky enough to be fed this by a friend who was desperate for approval and though we are still in touch, I have not shared a drink with him since. Take heed world. Did I buy this purely because of the name? Yes. 33cl bottle, BB ’November’ … no year given. Pale orange, slight haze, sparkling, small foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is biscuits, copper pipe, traces of pineapple if you search. Body is medium to light, spritzy carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is cream crackers, a little tangy, card, dry with pale malts and an enduring breathy bitterness, some vegetable stock. Decent lager.
330ml bottle in London. Drank straight from the bottle so no idea on appearance. aroma is weak malts, straw, corn and grass. taste is bitter, dry and refreshing. nothing exciting but it’s alright. PeterFria (15) - - AUG 6, 2014

33cl bottle. Clear and transparent with light yellow colour. Medium head. Nose : bread, grains, wet hay. Light fruity aromas of apricot. Sip : water like with good carbonation. Dry overall with light taste of grains and citrus. I had this bottle after Ulricher Extra and Contra pils ... both much better then this one. FatPhil (17730) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 5, 2012

Sour aroma, sour taste too. However, the grains behind that are pretty tasty. Pleasantly light and bready. Crisp carbonation. Watery palate, but refreshing citrussy hops. Lemon. Don’t think it should be sour, really.
Bottle at home in London. Phelps just took gold in the 4x200 freestyle relay - attaboy! Pours a perfectly clear yellow with a moderate, perfectly white foam head. Nose is completely dry cereal, hay and light dough. Light sweet flavor, some crispy, dry dough malts, light hay bitterness, hints of lemon pith, subtle corn flakes. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Crisp finish, not too sweet with some hay bitterness, bone dry dough, very mild cereal. It’s somewhat light in character, but what is there is very pleasant and the beer, overall, is quite refreshing. Good. gunnar (10078) - Sandnes, NORWAY - FEB 22, 2012

Bottle: Hazy & golden, big - "really whipped-cream-like" (slag = whipped cream) white head that very slowly collapses, slightly yeasty-phenolic and fruity, but mainly herbal-hoppy nose, some minerals detectable, too; sweet-bitter flavour, really soft; light herbal-hoppy and yeasty-malty finish. What a rarity: a tasty and well balanced Belgian Lager.....
