Bottle from Peterborough BF ’08. Gold with a white head. Yeast and caramel malt aroma. Very sweet taste with a little sourness. Some bitterness at the end, but sweetness and yeast are the dominant impressions. It proved attractive to wasps in the garden. Quite enjoyed it. Jerre (3857) - Waregem, BELGIUM - JUL 28, 2010

[330ml bottle, gift from Jim - cheers!] Very pale gold, moderate white head, rather too fizzy. Floral aroma continues into the flavour, although there’s a bit of cardboard there. Dry at first, it grows pleasantly sweet with a little resinous pine in the finish. Not bad for a lager; a big improvement on most of the macros. NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2010
Tap @ In de Wildeman. Yellow colored brew. Grassy aroma. Flavor has citrus, wheat, some grassy hops. Dull. Swaroga (2224) - Warszawa, POLAND - FEB 17, 2013
33cl bottle. Clear and transparent with light yellow colour. Medium head. Nose : bread, grains, wet hay. Light fruity aromas of apricot. Sip : water like with good carbonation. Dry overall with light taste of grains and citrus. I had this bottle after Ulricher Extra and Contra pils ... both much better then this one.

Bottle from beermerchants.com. Gold with a fizzy white short lasting head. Like a pils really, which is not my favourite style of beer and I can take this or leave it really. Quite mild finish, drinkable but a bit average thanks. JoeinDahlem (1604) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2007
On tap @ Bruxellensis. I know the style gets no respect around here, but I thought this was a nice one with some character. Golden beer with a whitish head that goes filmy. Bready aroma with notes of sourdough, corn tortilla and and grass. Light body, dry, and mildly bitter. Grassy, refreshing. Bust out the Belgian lawnmower. olliejobbins (1577) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2015
330ml bottle in London. Drank straight from the bottle so no idea on appearance. aroma is weak malts, straw, corn and grass. taste is bitter, dry and refreshing. nothing exciting but it’s alright. MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2004
Boring yellow brew. Thin and undercarbonated. Rather sweet. Hints of hops. Uninteresting. lachesis (757) - St Idesbald, BELGIUM - NOV 28, 2004
At d’Oude Speye in Damme near Bruges. Nice golden lager with soft carbonation and creamy head. Good soft aroma’s with some fruityness and a faint hoppy touch. Smooth and refreshing taste with a small bitter touch that is well integrated in this outstanding lager. It has a nice a clean afthertaste.
