Ugly beer. Yellow, fizzy and uriney. Tastes and smells like non-alc beer, so why really bother? Very very bad. JPDIPSO (6300) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUN 27, 2004
The proverbial urinal colored liquid. Quickly diminished white head. Mild aroma of grape jam in a tin can. Seltzer water with a twist. Not sure what the twist is just yet. This really is quite devoid of substance. Light flavors of grape skins and grain. Thanks to slikwily, I can now say I have tried it. Boutip (6633) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 14, 2004
Bottle: Poured a light yellow beer with no head or aroma or even taste. I don’t really know what to say about this one that wasn’t said before. It’s not beer but more like water with some beer tasting products included. This is a trend that will last for a year before disappearing, which should be a good thing really. magpie1998 (4) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2004 does not count
It almost looks like beer. I’ve seen, and drank, less attractive beers.
Very pale yellow colour. If pressed, there is a hint of beer taste.
Not worth the calories it would take to drink it. yjman (1) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 26, 2004 does not count
First taste doesn’t do it justice, you only ’get it’ towards the end of the beer; dead on its mark as a light, refreshing beer. Of course heavy lager drinkers used to dark beers won’t like it because it doesn’t assult your taste buds. But for the average, summer beer drinker looking for light refreshment; its right on!

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2005 Re-rate: Just as bad as a year ago. actually, much worse. alcoholic taste, blended with corn cob. clear is an understatement. more like yellow tinted water. smells like corn water and alcohol.
Original May 25, 2004: Compared to other light beers, this one is awesome. of course this is also the most expensive bottle of water you will ever buy. A bland beer, with no aftertaste, or any taste at all. 2/1/1/1/1 = 0.6 OKBeer (1175) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAY 24, 2004
Pale yellow colour with a white fizzy head. No aroma. Thin, light, watery, prickly mouthfeel. Makes a decent club soda. pootzboy (1824) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2004
A straw colored cardboard- beer flavored soadie pop. Weak in color, taste or true beer character...this is a sodie pop swig fer the kiddies. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - MAY 17, 2004
Light straw color, small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was cerealish with a bit of lemon and maybe a very mild hop presence.I’m really beginning to hate these low carb brews. There’s no taste really. This one has a light cereal like flavor and mild lemon, but mostly it has a watery taste with carbonation.Very poor brew to even bother brewing. But i’m sure some hillbilly will drink thinking about how there losing weight.Try it once but i don’t think theres any need to punish yourself with more. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 7, 2004
Gold innocent looking beverage with minimal head. Aroma is faint, slightly off but not offensive. First sip is really harsh as is the finish. It is not "remarkably clean". After that first shock the beer most resembles soda water.
