If you don’t like beer, you’ll probably like Sleeman’s Clear, as there is very little flavor to be found here. Clean, and Crisp indeed. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - MAY 19, 2006
This is pointless, I mean seriously. A bit of noxious aroma when opened, with no body and no flavor. WTF? MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Jesus...God.... I think this might be the worse beer of all time. No Joke.
Needed the rating. piscator34 (2534) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 28, 2004
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2004 You might as well drink tap-water. At least it's free and there are ZERO carbs in water. This beer looks fine (for a light beer), and smells ok, but doesn't taste like much. What little flavor there is somewhat like wet cardboard. bulldogops (2507) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 18, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2009 Bottle. 4%. Weak white foam that fizzes away quickly. Aroma is corn and grains. Taste is watery, grainy, and mild apple sweetness. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp, but there is no flavour to really speak of. I would ask for fruit juice before asking for one of these.

Being a masochist of sorts I’m always fascinated by the "light" beer craze of North America. I never found a "light" beer in Europe, as people were happy to know that their beer tasted like beer. Except in the case of Kriek, but then it tasted like Kriek, and not water. Speaking of which, why haven’t the big commercial brewers tried to market a Kriek-style brew to the same people who might buy a "light" beer? Nonetheless, in my further education of all things related to beer being "light", whatever that may mean at any given time, this stuff pours with a very pale and clear body but still a small layer of head. Faint aroma of murky hops, which was more than I was expecting. Taste is a smooth nothingness with just a vague hint of malt if you tilt your head correctly at the right time. Dry finish, at least. I’m still looking for that "light" beer that’s worth drinking instead of a fine soda water. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 31, 2004
Now, if You’re Going to Drink Sleeman, This is the Easiest To Drink, As it is Mostly Void of the Bitter Sweet "All-Natural" Flavors They Use. VertBaconStrips (2389) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - JUL 11, 2009
This smellless, colourless, flavourless mess is a joke of a brew. It’s clear of all worth and it’s very clear that Sleemans is consistent at putting out waste of money beers. I’ve had my share of low % beers but this must be the worst of all of them. barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2008
341 ml bottle from the LCBO breakers bin. pours very pale yellow. no aroma. slightest hint of malt flavour. goes down like water. very very light. almost not even worth having. Dorqui (2258) - Brescia, ITALY - NOV 22, 2004
Inconsistent, it deprives of character and scents.
