A straw colored cardboard- beer flavored soadie pop. Weak in color, taste or true beer character...this is a sodie pop swig fer the kiddies. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 15, 2004
A light beer thats for sure. Clear body, clear bottle and clear of any real flavour. I guess its for those trying to watch their carbs. Johnsense (1688) - - JUN 14, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2015 Part of a beer basket at the office - ugh. Yellow/gold with a fizzy head that was gone within 2 seconds. Aroma is barely there - very faint corn/rice aroma’s. Taste? You’re kidding right? This could pass as carbonated water - Very slight hints of corn and rice. Overcarbonated, light mouthfeel. Anyone who says this is their favorite beer clearly does not like beer. An embarassment to Canadian Brewing. Should note there is a version 2.0 out there, but I’m not shelling out the money for 6 of them! daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2003
Fizzy yellow color, foamy white head. Skunked aroma with just a touch of grass. The body is surprisingly nonexistent. As the description says, this beer boasts a remarkably clean taste, which, rougly translated, means: little to no taste. Nice work here.

Clear. Extremely pale straw. Head disappeared almost immediately. Very faint aroma of cooked corn. Very light, watery body. Very bland & watery. Almost flavorless. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2003
I'll agree with cartoon khaki here. it tastes like someone spilled a little corn syrup in their club soda. absolute crap. if you're so worried about carbs don't drink beer. AleRider78 (1333) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2017
Pours a big fizzy/bubbly head and goes away pretty quick and leaves a small layer. Has a clear straw coloured appearance. Excessive carbonation. Has aromas of wheats and grains. Very grassy and earthy. Flavours are unfortunately quite bland, mainly just grainy malts, grass, corn, very light hops almost non-existant. Very faint sweetness. Has a prickly and heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Light bodied. Most Sleeman are enjoyable but this one’s a disappointment. Strangebrewer (1315) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2010
can. Poured clear pale straw coloured with no head. Little aroma and grainy at that. Adjunct grainy flavour for what flavour it has. Very light, average carbonation, no aftertaste. Cartoonkhaki (1300) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 20, 2003
Ah I'm the lab rat here arn't I. Has no one dared yet to try this "beer" ....One thing you need to know about this beer. Club soda with a little beer flavouring.... only 2.5 grams of carbs... good for you Sleemans I'm sure someone will be proud of you... Currently only available in Ontario.... pitty for us yokals... This is a CLEARly unremarkable waste of PREMIUM money.... Way to go Sleemans way to go for knocking yourself down even further in the rungs.
