2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Good Canadian style beer. good flavour, good appearance, good pallet, no bad aftertaste. Not as good as honey brown.
Bottle. Clear pale yellow body, minimal white head with almost no retention and no lacing. Aroma of corn, grains, wet cardboard, sulfur and some metallic notes. Taste of grains, cardboard, sweet corn and mineral water. Thin, but not terrible. AleRider78 (1383) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2017
Pours a big fizzy/bubbly head and goes away pretty quick and leaves a small layer. Has a clear straw coloured appearance. Excessive carbonation. Has aromas of wheats and grains. Very grassy and earthy. Flavours are unfortunately quite bland, mainly just grainy malts, grass, corn, very light hops almost non-existant. Very faint sweetness. Has a prickly and heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Light bodied. Most Sleeman are enjoyable but this one’s a disappointment. ronaldtheriot (1963) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JAN 28, 2017
Sleeman Clear 2.0 has a medium, white head, a very clear, bubbly, straw appearance, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is of very faint and slightly musty beer smells. Taste is of paper, some sourness, slight green apple, and water, predominantly water. Mouthfeel is thin, and Sleeman Clear 2.0 finishes crisp.
Very bland. Mild aroma of white rice a hint of apple. Mild taste of white bread and straw. Quick and clean finish. Not really offensive. Not really much of anything.

Can - Light green apple. Straw with a decent white head. Bit of Apple and mineral notes with a very clean finish. Super light but not offensive. emmceevee (1) - - MAY 13, 2016 does not count
really watered down 4% beer that gives me reduced hangovers, reduced cal and carb intake.
only beer I buy now. ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 16, 2016
Pours very pale gold with white head. Not much of an aroma or taste for that matter. Tastes like water with a hint of beer. G_Ram9 (93) - - OCT 2, 2015
Canned. 2015, NS. Damned near water, yet still better than bud light in my opinion. Not a bad beer, just not much to it. If all you want is something light to get drunk, this will do the job.

Second generation of this low carb beer. Pours a light golden colour with a frothy white head that has better retention than expected with active carbonation from the medium-sized bubbles. Cereal grain malt scent with some sugars, cardboard and mild chemical hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a mineral water feel. Had a few of these from the 6-pack real cold on a hot night, and it did the job for a light lager. Now, testing room temperature and cereal-hay malts come out a little more. Still, watery overall, but nothing offensive.

Originally rated July 2006. Sleeman’s brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labatt’s Sterling. Molson’s Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.
