Crystal clear lightly tinted water with a medium sized head. The beer smells like well nothing. Maybe some malt. Very light flavor with a hint of malt and touch of bitterness. Very light body with nothing offensive. Nothing there.

Second generation of this low carb beer. Pours a light golden colour with a frothy white head that has better retention than expected with active carbonation from the medium-sized bubbles. Cereal grain malt scent with some sugars, cardboard and mild chemical hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a mineral water feel. Had a few of these from the 6-pack real cold on a hot night, and it did the job for a light lager. Now, testing room temperature and cereal-hay malts come out a little more. Still, watery overall, but nothing offensive.

Originally rated July 2006. Sleeman’s brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labatt’s Sterling. Molson’s Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.

Canned. 2015, NS. Damned near water, yet still better than bud light in my opinion. Not a bad beer, just not much to it. If all you want is something light to get drunk, this will do the job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very bland. Mild aroma of white rice a hint of apple. Mild taste of white bread and straw. Quick and clean finish. Not really offensive. Not really much of anything.

Low carb beer. Very different, Dry, little taste. A light sample of hops. Good for cooking, passable for drinking on a hot day instead of a soda. Very light color, almost water with a bit of foam and bubbles.

Une bière limpide, de couleur or, sans col particulier. Des arômes chétifs de céréales et un houblonage quasi absent. Plutôt insipide. Bière mince, à l’effervescence moyenne et à la fin abrupte.

can. pours clear extra pale yellow with a disappearing white head, no retention and lacing. reminiscence/souvenir of cereals, faint fruitiness - white grapes and apple juice, obvious rice/corn/adjunct, herbal blandness. soda pop carbonation, light body - watery; bland but dry herbal finish. no cardboard or skunkiness since it was canned rather than filled int heir clear glass bottles. still, as expected, i.e. not horrid.

AleRider78 (1413) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2017
Pours a big fizzy/bubbly head and goes away pretty quick and leaves a small layer. Has a clear straw coloured appearance. Excessive carbonation. Has aromas of wheats and grains. Very grassy and earthy. Flavours are unfortunately quite bland, mainly just grainy malts, grass, corn, very light hops almost non-existant. Very faint sweetness. Has a prickly and heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Light bodied. Most Sleeman are enjoyable but this one’s a disappointment.
