2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
341ml bottle. Pours a bright amber red with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has honey, sweet malt, perhaps honey nut cornflakes. The taste has honey and malt. The palate is light to medium bodied with a sweet creamy texture and unfortunately the finish is a bit cloying and lacking in bitterness. Overall, it looks ok but goes downhill sharply from there.
Keg at Beerdock Leek. A clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch, some fruit and slight honey. Taste of caramel, fruit, honey, some butterscotch and subtle chalk. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A sweetish, chalky, fruity finish. Not the most appealing amber lager, some fruity ester and a chalky finish. Very thin too. Pour amberish colour with average white head. Body is light to medium, with lower than average carbonation. It has too sweet of a finish. Hits of caramel. sawyerpc15 (166) - Bowser, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2017
I’ve always found this beer is a little too sweet for my tastes which lean towards more hoppy and malts. It was smooth and hints of caramel. Rianne (7) - - JUN 4, 2017 does not count
3 weken canada geweest. Dit biertje echt favoriet. Drinkt heel makkelijk zachte smaak geen bittere nasmaak. Ik zou willen dat ze van dit bier hadden in Nederland

Woody amber colour. Malty aroma. Slightly sweet malty taste. The honey is barely noticeable. ChadPoole (479) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2016
Pours orange amber with a fast fading white head. Aroma is weak malt and flavour is watery malt. I didn’t taste any honey in this beer at all, just a watered down lager. Clarkdvm (529) - Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2016
Draft in Toronto. Unpleasant beer aroma. Sweet. Bit like yuengling but not as good. Too watery. Kauge (2118) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 31, 2016
Was offered a bottle while visiting someone. A fairly alright adjunct lager - expectedly sweet but the prickliness helped. Overall not good really but not too bad either... Minus point for the clear bottle. allmyvinyl (10995) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 21, 2016
