COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A rich, well-balanced pilsner style lager. Its extra body gives it extra smoothness with only a fleeting, pleasant after-bitterness.

Gold, thin white head and good condition. Gentle grain and a faint hoppy bitterness in the nose, low bitter hop and fruity malt in the mouth and a low grainy bitter chalkiness in the finish.

The nose is malty and semi-sweet. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. A quick hoppy attack in the finish. An after-bite that is very nice. Recommended to fans of Moosehead and other above average lagers. Don’t drink before driving (a little humor). Cheers!

Grumbo (3724) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2016
Bottle in California, US import. Retro rating. Poured very pale gold with a short-lasting white head. Unappealing aroma of grain, malt and grass. Fairly sweet, light bitterness. Light body, thin texture, high level of carbonation.

Pours clear gold with a fast fading white head. Aroma is grains and malt. Taste is same as aroma but watery with a touch of grass. Drinkable, but why would you.

Blond color with no head. Smells and tastes like cheap Lager, a lot of corn, dryish, and moderate bitterness.
Poor.

Bottle - Skunky euro style lager. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light sweet, papery and a dry light bitterness. Not good.

Appearance: clear straw with one finger of fluffy white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: cheap cereal and corn, faded grassy hops. (3/10) Taste: mild sweet, mild bitter. (3/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, medium duration slightly astringent and metallic finish. (2/5) Gah... not as good as their Cream Ale - and that’s not a high bar to cross. Absolutely nothing to recommend this. (6/20)

Thanks to Chopz for the housewarming party leftover brews. Pours a small foamy white head and has a clear straw coloured appearance. Aromas are grainy and malty. Flavours are also mostly grainy, some malts and grassy hops. Not much else going on really. It’s still an easy one to drink and not offensive in the least just missing a little something.
