Clean grapefruit/citrus nose. Golden color, mostly clear. Strong bitter taste, filtered quickly by grapefruit, ending as moderate bittering hops. Smooth, with just enough carbonation. rondphoto (4508) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 15, 2015
on tap @ Snow Goose / Anchorage AK --- Clear light golden copper color, white head cover, sprays of lace. Looks like it will taste great! Taste is caramel malt that is quickly invaded by assertive pine hops. Even though the hops are solid, the malt will not be denied, and hangs in through a medium finish. A keeper. Draft at Tap Root Beer and Mead Social: Poured a copper color with off white head. Aroma is citrus fruit grapefruit, piney hops, and some floral. Very nice mixture of citrus fruit, piney hops, balancing malts, and floral bitterness. Finish is warm and spicy. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - APR 1, 2012

[Tap] Tried this at the brewpub in mid-September. Pours a bright orange color with a quickly receding head on top. Moderately strong nose of grapefruit, passionfruit and lighter amounts of pine sap. Herbal hoppy taste is strong, but not overpowering. Caramel and molasses notes also round out the flavor. The balance is OK, but there are some fusel alcohol notes in this brew as well. Dry and crisp finish. A decent IPA. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - AUG 22, 2011
Draft at brewery: Good IPA. Nose is filled with juicy citrus. Bright hops in the olfactories. Effervescent and snappy. Malts are rich to boot. Hops are floral, citrusy, clean and piney. Not overly bitter like many IPAs out there. Just a decent, easy-to-drink IPA. Probably my favorite beer that I’ve tasted from Sleeping Lady. Also drank this one night at Humpy’s.
