From old tasting notes. Hazy yellow gold color. Big bubbly beige head. Pleasant sweet blueberry aroma. Spicy fruit malt flavor has obvious blueberry overtones. Nice complex hop backdrop finishes sharp and hoppy. blipp (9501) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 4, 2017
Can, as Blueberry Blonde Ale. Pours orange with a white head. Plain malty base, a little bit of generic fruity sweetness, faint floral hops, some herbal notes, and a little blueberry in the finish. Fine. PugUglyBrewer (742) - - APR 22, 2017
This the kinda blonde I can really sweeten up to. Has a light amber color with blonde highlights all supporting a creamy head of lasting white foam. Fresh and juicy blueberries meet the nose and tastebuds up front with a pleasing balance of malt sweetness for the base. All around solid and refreshing brew for the hot weather months kicking off. Tap, gold/amber pour, off white head, nose is blueberry, taste is blueberry, sweet Theydon_Bois (20139) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2014
Keg at the brewpub in SLO, 30/04/14.
Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is blueberries, light spice, wheaten bread, sugary notes, berry fruit medley.
Taste comprises much the same, pretty 1D stuff, blueberries, pale malt, straw, sweet notes.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, crisp clean execution.
Ok as fruit beers go, the carbonation level keeps it drinkableand stops it from getting sticky sweet, ideal beer on a tasting flight as I wouldn’t be looking for a whole lot more!

Bottle 8/02 (Old Notes)-Pours a darker golden with a white head. Aroma of blueberries. Taste of the same with some caramel and malt coming in. This light bodied brew is not bad and rather tasty. Was not expecting much. brokensail (16599) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Light golden pour with a white head. Really strong blueberry aroma, somewhat fake and sugary, but good. A hint of butter and pancake batter, too. Some syrup, perhaps. The flavor has a strong blueberry syrup note to it. Some pale malt, bread, and dough flavors. A bit of butter and sweet sugar. Pretty decent, actually. Draft at SLO. Nose of tons of blueberries. Clear amber with a medium white head. Flavor is blueberries and grainy wheat. wetherel (1888) - Cupertino, California, USA - AUG 22, 2009
Tried at the brewpub in downtown Paso Robles after a day of visiting wineries. Man, the wineries ROCK here. What an awesome day. What a better way to finish off the day than to sit down with a sampler platter of ice cold uber-crappy beer. Well, I gotta admit. This beer looks fantastic, and smells great too. Fresh blueberries bobbing up and down in a sea of yellow-amber water, with a smooth creamy white head. My wife thought the beer was great. Taste is yucky corn-syrup vegetal blechiness, but whatever, I’m happy. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Draught at the Santa Barbara location; listed as only 3.3%abv. Dark gold-amber color with a slight haze. Blast of blueberry in the aroma with some wet straw and grain. Flavors of husky grains and very subtle blueberry. Pretty sweet and full flavored for the strength, and I like that the blueberry is almost undetectable in the flavor, but there is something odd about how prevalent it is in the aroma.
