UPDATED: APR 22, 2003 Pours to a bright golden color, well carbonated with moderate head formation. There’s a sweet flowery aroma with a touch of candy and blueberry in moderation. The palate is very light for an ale with blueberry flavors appearing immediately but not overwhelmingly. The blue flavor runs throughout, bringing with it a touch of prickly spice and just fading towards the finish, while there’s a touch of sugary sweetness in the middle and balancing crisp dryness in the finish.
This is a pretty straightforward blonde ale but the blueberry flavor works really well. Sickboy282 (1114) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 14, 2002
This is the best fruity beer I have had next to the lambics. Very true blueberry flavor paired up with a light ale. Reccommended for female friends, or if you want to try something a little different. DocLock (10836) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2004
Dark straw colored, with medium head. Slight hops and blueberry aroma. Tastes a little like blueberries. Slightly hoppy, acidic, and thin at the end. Not bad. mjg74 (3140) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 3, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2007 Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a brownish/amber color. Aroma is of canned blueberries with a little cinnamon. Moderate blueberry flavor along with a little graininess and a hint of hops. Not bad. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 20, 2008
One of my favorite brews to have on draught. Pours a lovely clear amber colour, medium sized white head, and blueberry, floral and wheat aromas and nuances bursting out of the glass

Bottle 8/02 (Old Notes)-Pours a darker golden with a white head. Aroma of blueberries. Taste of the same with some caramel and malt coming in. This light bodied brew is not bad and rather tasty. Was not expecting much. Theydon_Bois (20165) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2014
Keg at the brewpub in SLO, 30/04/14.
Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is blueberries, light spice, wheaten bread, sugary notes, berry fruit medley.
Taste comprises much the same, pretty 1D stuff, blueberries, pale malt, straw, sweet notes.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, crisp clean execution.
Ok as fruit beers go, the carbonation level keeps it drinkableand stops it from getting sticky sweet, ideal beer on a tasting flight as I wouldn’t be looking for a whole lot more! blipp (9502) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 4, 2017
Can, as Blueberry Blonde Ale. Pours orange with a white head. Plain malty base, a little bit of generic fruity sweetness, faint floral hops, some herbal notes, and a little blueberry in the finish. Fine. austinpowers (2832) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 19, 2002
The aroma is choked with blueberries. The flavor, less so. Altogether a nice fruity beer, though I'm not eager for another. But I must admit this was well done. Seems to be a pale ale underneath, as I detect some bitterness. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Draught at the Santa Barbara location; listed as only 3.3%abv. Dark gold-amber color with a slight haze. Blast of blueberry in the aroma with some wet straw and grain. Flavors of husky grains and very subtle blueberry. Pretty sweet and full flavored for the strength, and I like that the blueberry is almost undetectable in the flavor, but there is something odd about how prevalent it is in the aroma.
