A dark brown pour with an off-white head. Roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate on the nose. Somewhat acidic, watery, and a mild molasses sweetness. Strong roasted malt flavor, some coffee, and dark chocolate. Mild sweetness, a hint of licorice, fair amount of acidity, and a bit of water.

A slight grainy aroma. looks great. this is not that heavy for an oatmeal stout, which is fine by me. A bit of sweetness. Not bad. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 20, 2008
On tap at the brewery: pours a thick black opaque colour with a full tan head. Aroma is sweet, remiscent of fresh oatmel cookies. Taste is sweet also, creamy and light and chocolatey in the finish. StewardofGondor (1934) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 6, 2006
Tap @ brewery. Opaque, with a black body underneath a creamy tan head. Chocolate, caramel and turtle fudge chocolates combine with fudge brownies, mild EKG accents and lactic dark chocolate to create a delectable nose. Sweet chocolatey entities form a flavor enhanced by semi sweet chocolate morsels and moderate baking bricks. Cocoa patties and a soggy fudgie pull. Caramel courses through the latent brownie batter to help reunite it with the turtle candy parallels. Medium-to-fuller bodied, with a flavor and substance akin to a room temp mocha macchiato. Definitely this brewery’s best foot forward. Odeed (1805) - Bakersfield, California, USA - SEP 5, 2004
