Ruby to amber color with a light sandy colored head of foam. Vibrant notes of toasted, nutty, and caramel malts. Some sweet, fresh florals linger along and the hemp can be detected somewhat in the dry and syrupy sweet finish. An easy going red. Tap, amber pour, off white head, nose is nutty, caramel, taste is sweet, syrup Theydon_Bois (20225) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2014
Keg at the SLO brewpub, 30/04/14.
Lightly hazed reddish amber with a thin off white head that quickly dissupates to nyadda - not a looker, just scrapes a 3 - nah it’s a 2 the ugly fecker!
Nose is caramel, light spice, fruit rind, brown sugars.
Taste comprises light coconut shavings, caramel, biscuit crumble, soft fleshy fruits.
Medium boded, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so amber shmamber.

Amber pour with an off-white head. Floral and somewhat fruity hops. Light ester profile, toast, toffee, and bread. Somewhat bland, unfortunately. The flavor isn’t all that impressive either. Bread, toffee, and toasted malt base to this one. A light floral and citrus peel hop profile, mild fruit esters add some sweetness. dwyerpg (6297) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Not much in the aroma. Definitely red in color. This is fairly average but almost on the boring side. Very eh.

Draft at SLO! Nose of caramel and wheaty sweetness. Clear amber with a small white head. Flavor is caramel. some sweetness, and a hint of bitterness in the background. wetherel (1888) - Cupertino, California, USA - AUG 22, 2009
OK. I cut and pasted this part from my other ratings at SLO brewing: "Tried at the brewpub in downtown Paso Robles after a day of visiting wineries. Man, the wineries ROCK here. What an awesome day. What a better way to finish off the day than to sit down with a sampler platter of ice cold uber-crappy beer." On to the beer: Cloudy red amber color. Something off in the taste. Yuk. Kind of like sucking on a dishrag. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 26, 2008
Draught at the Santa Barbara location. Deep red color with a small head. Toasty malt and caramel aroma with a hint of tea. Sweet toasty caramel malt flavors with crisp hops balancing the finish out. Light and crisp body. Nice, malty, and flavorful, though lacking and frills.
