Bottle. Pours a clear reddish copper body under a minimal fizzy off-white head that vanished quickly. The nose is nicely hoppy with some citrusy notes. A little too much toasty and sweet grain below the hops for my tastes though, hopefully this isn’t overly sweet. The flavor really reminds me of a moderately hopped Irish Ale more than what I’m expecting from an IPA. Lots of toasty and husky malt below the minimally bitter citrusy hops. This doesn’t reach up into IPA level as far as I’m concerned. If this is their most aggressive beer, then they need to expand their horizons a bit. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. This one just doesn’t do it for me. GandGKevin (934) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 2, 2013

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Murky amber with creamy head. Hoppy, some nettle and flowers aroma. Very bitter, pine and nettle taste with toasty undertones, medium body and a very bitter finish. beerandbeyond (708) - ISRAEL - JUL 5, 2013
Hazy dark amber color with a big beige head.
Tropical fruits aroma, with citrusy hops and pines.
Juicy hop flavors, hi bitterness with some caramel and faint marmalade.
Dry, over carbonated, a bit astringent, medium bodied and quite nice.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Hazy amber. Great hoppy aroma full of citrus, flowers and pine needles. Flavor has a bit of maltiness with faint sweetness and a nice bitter hoppy finish, citric and piney. Medium-bodied. A good IPA. conway (2210) - - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle. Pours dark amber with a thin white head and lots of sediment. Aroma is floral and piney with a nice peach note. Taste is citrusy with a caramel malt backbone and again the peach note. Palate is decent but could go for more carb. Nice and clean.

In short: A bitter, dry and yeasty coniferous/citrus copper IPA. Pretty good.OldGrowth (3665) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - APR 10, 2013
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed 1.5 month after purchase, bottle from my man Jay.
The look: Partly cloudy copper body topped by a large beige head with medium retention leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose is very coniferous, very scented, green pine needles shoved up deep in my nose, freshly cut pine-tree, cedar notes. Taste is very toasted, dry croutons, a bit of caramel, strong yeast presence, mouth drying flour sensation. Assertive hopping that is a whole lot of dry pine-tree and lemon zest and grapefruit flesh. Bitterness sensation of medium-high intensity. Quite dry. Big fluffy lively body, maybe a bit too fluffy/yeasty. Pretty damn good even if I thought the malts lacked definition and presence. I wasn’t disappointed by this beer, and a good way to avoid unnecessary disappointments in life is to not expect a beer rating to explain to you how to avoid unnecessary disappointments in life.
bottle, from Half Time Beverage. Good aroma, sweet, fruity. citrus with some mango, caramel, little pine. nice clean brownish orange color, good initial head, faded quickly to a ring. Bitter sweet flavor, medium bodied, oily creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Pretty tasty. nice aroma. Solid IPA, gets my hopes up for the others I bought from them.
