The conflict of flavors in this dry hopped sour ale combine to create a truly unique beer. Our house lactic culture creates a tart, sour base, contrasted with an intense citra and galaxy dry hopping. The aroma showcases citrusy, fruity elements and the finish tastes of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

The I Ching tells us heaven and water go their separate ways. We would beg to differ.

Draught. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma is vinegar and citrus. Taste is sour; lemony citrus, vinegar, some pine, and a hint of cereal. Big lemony finish followed by lingering pine bitterness. Puckering. Medium body. Light but prickly carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Too sharp. Very simplistic. This feels like a less nuanced version of Hermit Thrush's Party Guy.

Bue à la pression. Blonde foncée. Pas de mousse. Très légère carbonation. Nez sour sur le citron. Palais bien acide mais rehausse par des houblons bien présents. Aromes fruités, citron, pamplemousse.

Have had a few of these lately that are sour plus dry hop for more interesting nose and adding a dryness to the finish. Good, not great. My nose must be shot I could not pick up much but I have trouble when I am out with that so won’t penalize. Nice balance to this but I prefer a straight up sour.

Draft at the brewpub, 10/8/16.  Cloudy orange pour.  No head or lace.  Fairly sour, slightly vinegary aroma.  Tart and funky.  Lively carbonation, dry close.

solidfunk (9794) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 9, 2016
Very nice sour here. Some citrus and some sour plum. Murky yellow pour with ok head and lacing. Tangy finish with yeasty Berliner type elements. Tap at Rattle n Hum east.

Draught. Hazy pale yellow with creamy white head, acidic aroma, high carbonation, tart taste, thin body, long tart finish. Weakish, not too bad.

Growler shared by Matthew. Thanks man! Hazy yellow straw body with a fleeting white cap. Sour stone fruit aroma. Lacto up front with a gentle acetic finish. Lingering pineapple and melon. Tasty!

DocLock (11236) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2016
Shared growler at Craft. Absolutely turbid poyur, looking like pulpy grapefruit juice. Hops and intense ruby red grapefruit in the nose. Tasted like ruby red grapefruit juice with hops added. Delicious.
