Icedwarf (1798) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2017
Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter met iets van koffie en chocolade. Heeft een mooi vol en romig mondgevoel, echt lekker.

Mpuntmuts (271) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2017 Pours dark brown with a large tan head that doesn't last long. Caramel/butterscotch is the main smell, lovely!! Some coffee notes in there too. Taste of coffee and some wheat bread along with burnt sugar. Too bad the butterscotch can't be found in the taste. Thin bodied with low to medium carbonation. Such a shame for the butterscotch and the body. Needs some adjustment, but close to a very good beer!!!

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a really intense level of sweet dark malts. Hints of chocolate and aniseed. Smooth and easy to drink.

Inoven (929) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - SEP 4, 2017

2/VIII/17 - 33cl bottle from Emté supermarket (Hoek) @ holidays - BB: XII/2018 (2017-1163) Thanks to Arno and Meggy for the bottle!

Clear reddish dark brown beer, creamy aery irregular brown head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, some chocolate, soft roast, bit spicy, some chlorine, little soapy. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: caramel, bit sugary, some milk chocolate, pretty sweet, bit one dimensional. Aftertaste: some bitterness, some dried fruits, lots of caramel, some banana, very sweet.

33cl bottle shared at home. Hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle sweet and bitter tones. Roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar and chocolate. Mediocre.

Van ’t vat. Bruin bier met rode gloed en ecru kleurig schuim. Geur: geroosterde mout, chocolade. Smaak: zacht romig, koffie en een klein bittertje. Medium koolzuurprikkel.

bierkoning (13674) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - FEB 27, 2017
Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, caramel and roast in the aroma and flavor. Not too sweet, hint of butter. Solid beer.

MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 19, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma has a faint hint of diacety, buttery, malty and a hint of caramel. Flavor has a big sweet presence, but also a buttery presence and lacks depth and complexity. No real characteristics of a decent dubbel are detected here, just an ill made beer in my book. Decent to drink, but nowhere near a real decent beer.
