An Irish ale served at Stockholm Beer Festival 2002. According to the brewery it is a prototype to what might later on be renamed to Dublin Red Ale.

Nitro draught version. Orange brown with firm white head. Buttery aroma. A bit smoked flavour with firm bitterness and dry finish. Yet another prototype brew from Swedens most productive brewery. As Per says this is probably the prototype for what later became Dublin red. Yet another beer style I never have understood.

Sampled draught (nitro) at Stockholm Beer Festival.
Dark ruby, creamy appearance. Peaty, roasty aroma. Light to medium body. Salty, flowery and bitterish finish.
