3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ar: plenty of fruity hops, citric, pine, Grass, spruce, some pineapple, sweet malts, Wood.
Ap: amber colour, medium cream head, lacing.
F: big resinous bite, grapefruit, medicinal, pine, citric, bitterness is harsh and lingers for a very long time, malts are light and understated, again a note of Wood in the end.
T: My perception of Slottskällans was That they were always bland. Even though I’m not totally convinced by this brew, no one can accuse this for being flavourless.
En god og sprød IPA, duften og smagen bærer præg af den amerikanske humle, ikke på den dårlige måde men den gode måde. PowY (714) - AUSTRIA - DEC 6, 2016
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of toffee and sweet flowers along with some roasted malts. Medium to full body with low carbonation. The taste is of light sweetness and medium to strong bitterness with a full flavor with a good malty backbone and notes of ripe fruits (mango and lychee). 14 8474 Samuel214 (1089) - Örebro, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2016

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber, long lasting off-white head, leaving good lacing. Sweet caramel aroma, bread and pine. Sweet and soft mouthfeel. Sweet sugary and caramel taste, dried dark fruit, dark bread, grains, bitter finish with resin and pine. dwyerpg (6078) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 27, 2016
More citrus and floral hops than bittering, this was lighter and simpler than the Oppigard pale we had at the same time. I liked the flavor quite a bit though. Nevalainen (747) - FINLAND - APR 16, 2016
A bottle almost year too old. Cloudy amber color with huge white head, probably because of the age of the beer. Nice aroma of citrus and hops and fruit. Taste i little sweet with bitter finish. Overall a good IPA, and I would buy it again, also to taste when it’s fresh. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2015
Bottle split with Hatzer, J-Bar Sip and Tick Festival, Nacka, Stockholm, 31/10/15. Deep gold crowned with a fine snowy collar. Good nosing of guavas, peaches et al drizzled with the honey spoon. Tangy orange marmalade hop taste on toasted bread and crackers. Soapy and floral mandarin finish. Alcohol well carried. Solid and functional like a pasteurised bottled English GA somewhat lacking the aromatics expected of a 6.5% IPA. Mad_Ferret (1015) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2015
