Bottle. Dark amber colour with a longlasting off-white head. Malty and slightly roasted aroma. Malty flavor with some floral hoppy hints. Also some hints of caramel. Dry bitter aftertaste. Svesse (8616) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 1, 2006
(Bottled) Amber colour with creamy, disappearing head. Malty, roasted nose with dark rye bread, toffee, caramel and a light whif of smoke. Malty taste with the same aromas, maybe some chocolate and dried fruit in there as well. Mildly hoppy and chocolatey finish. Nice and very drinkable. MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2006

(on bottle)Like the "Ljus", this is a very well done beer, got lots of dried fruits and malts in the aroma and and nice reddish-brown color. Full mouth and added some wood and vanillaflavours to the aroma. Finish is watery and just riight for a dunkel. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2006
Bottled. Reddish copper colour, small beige head. Caramellish sweet malts in aroma along with grassy notes. Weak roasted malts in flavour, which is smooth, sweetish bitter (caramel meets bitterness). Wellbalanced, like slottskällans beers usually are . mabjork (692) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2006
