An amber beer with no head. The aroma is slightly sour and a little sweet - as if it has been brewed on brewing cereal. The flavor is very malty sweet - of an OK maltblend - but not really a special flavor. An OK beer - but nothing compared to other Slottskällans beers. joergen (28142) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2006
Clear orange coloured with a small off white head.
Aroma of malts, grass, caramel and slottskällans-yeast.
Flavour of malts, caramel, grass and hops.
Dry hoppy finish. anders37 (26625) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 21, 2006
Bottle. Dark amber colour with a longlasting off-white head. Malty and slightly roasted aroma. Malty flavor with some floral hoppy hints. Also some hints of caramel. Dry bitter aftertaste. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2006
Bottled. Reddish copper colour, small beige head. Caramellish sweet malts in aroma along with grassy notes. Weak roasted malts in flavour, which is smooth, sweetish bitter (caramel meets bitterness). Wellbalanced, like slottskällans beers usually are . omhper (25117) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 15, 2002
Dark amber. Dry, light bodied, lightly roasty, clean, medium bitterness.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Slottskällans München". Reddish brown almost without any head. Notes of caramel and roasted malt. Soft, only vaguely bitter and a bit too carbonated. But overall an OK brew. 060203

The aroma is strange, mixing some soap, flowers and hop. The mouthfeel is weak, with some caramel and light hop touch. Poor.
Beautiful amber color, thick head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, hop. Flavor dominated by the roasted malt, pretty dry, with a very light smokey note in the background. Pretty strong and quite long final.
AMber with a nice offwhite head. Malty, milky aroma with some nuts. Flavor is malty and nutty as well, some fruity notes, a bit too thin to be really good, but its still a nice beer.Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 13, 2002

Nice amber color, not much head. Aroma is dark chocolate, some cocoa and brown sugar. Has a sweet flravor that turns into some bitterness. Has a nice palate and is a very good beer.
Reddish amber - at least it looks nice. Big, bad phenols disrupt any sense of maltiness this beer was trying to develop. TBone (17532) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 30, 2005
Clear copper brown, small white head. Flowery hoppy with sweetish diacetyl-like toffee hints. Quite light with butterscotch, grassy - notes (diacetyl? I’m not sure, not used to find it in Slottskällans, maybe just too caramelly). Drinkable but too sweet.
