Linnet (1890) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2008
Very large off white head, golden colour. malty aroma with hints of fruit and toffee aroam is sweet. flavour is a bit metallic, a bit citrussy. I have given three octoberfest beers a grade of 3,2 but this together with left hands version are the better ones. A nice octoberfest beer a new style to me, which did not become a favourite.

Rich amber color with small light head. Fruity aroma. Sweet malty taste with hints of roasted nuts, citrus and a slightly dry, acid finish. More of an Ale feeling.

Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2009 Nice golden color with a quite small white head (maybe I chosed the wrong glass...). Aroma is a bit hoppy with citrus, slightly of malt. Taste is hoppy with notes of citrus, some fruityness and slightly of sweet malt. The mouthfeel is nice; filling and "round character". Drinkability is quite high due to a quite low ABV. A good "Monday beer".

Joakgust (1473) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 22, 2008
Bottle, 50cl - Amber golden colored beer with a disappearing white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of bread and hops. Flavor is rather sweet with hints of grain and bread. Slightly dry finish to it. A good Oktoberfest.

cgarvieuk (25691) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 23, 2008
Bottle at home ... Slightl;y hazy orange ... fruity banana nose ... big short lived foam head ... Way over fizzy ... solid fruity even some whesatyness with a brigth hop character. Gets wearing though.

Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - FEB 9, 2008
Hint of smoke on the aroma with somewhat citrusy and sweetish hops. Less smokiness in the flavour but rounded malts.

3.7
fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2007
Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007
Beautiful golden color. Very nice hop and malt aroma, sweet and fruity. Good body structure, malt flavor, sweet; the hop brings in some quality through its oils. Well balanced and quite powerful. Good.

500ml bottle (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Oktoberfest 2004) Odd - malty and hoppy, but not like a German Oktoberfestbier, this is more like an English bitter. Tasty, even if unexpected.
