Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 8, 2006
0,5 l bottle. Copper color with diminishing head. Good malty aroma with toasted and caramel notes, hints of wood, nuts and apple. Malty yet dry flavor, toasty and grassy flavor. Very good maltiness and toastiness. Perhaps the best oktoberfest beer I have had.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 22, 2006
Light coppery colored, little white fastly vanishing head. Aroma is rich with floral hoppy tones, also these weird but positive spinach tones there?!? Dry aroma with even some alcohol. Medium bodied. Flavor is caramelly with floral-spinach tones and some hops. Aftertaste dries with flowesr and hayish vegetable tones.

2.8
mabjork (692) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 4, 2006
Bottled. Clear amber colour with a minor whie head. The aroma is thin... watery and malty. The flavour again is Malty, feels somewhat watery and it has a dry aftertaste.

Moz (613) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2006
Bottle: Clear golden colour with a white head. Smells like a lawn. Nice flavour, reminds me of their "Vår öl". Quite bitter, a bit roasty. Bitter finish.

3.3
voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2006
Clear copper with a medium sized white head. Aroma of strong malt, grain and slight grass. Flavour is very malty, and the body reasonably balanced, some grain, toasted malt, nuts, caramel and very light hops come through. Malty finish. Probably the best oktoberfest the September Bolaget catalogue had to offer.

3.5

Bottled. Pale copper colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel and saaz. Flavour is grassy, malty and slightly caramel. The grassy malts stays long in the aftertaste. Very well done oktoberfest beer.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 5, 2006
courtesy of Per Samuelsson - pours a clear golden-amber colour and a little foam; earthy maltiness, cookie-like; soft palate and a solid malt backbone; late and very moderate bitterness along with some astringence; more malty notes in the finish (nuts, biscuits) - very well-made beer
