   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 16/20
bark (255) - Linköping, - JUN 18, 2005
Bottle. The colour is yellow; the head is off white and quite high.

The smell is malty and fresh with some spicy citric notes and a touch of wheat dough.

The taste is soft and somewhat bitter with a clean dry taste. There are flowery notes of vegetables; the aftertaste is bitter and balanced with some notes of lime (Saaz hops?).

The carbonation is very fresh with lots of very small bubbles.

An OK summer pils for those warm summer days, but nothing special...

BeerSkull (1373) - SWEDEN - APR 10, 2012
Aroma of malt and grassy hops. Quite grainy malt taste with a OK hops bitterness. In many ways a standard Swedish Premium Lager.

ekstedt (6948) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 20, 2007
Bottle. clear golden, medium white head. A regular boring SB brew with its typical earthy and grainy malt aroma and faint floral hops. Medium bodied, nice bitter finish.

Moz (613) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2007
Bottle. Golden colour with a medium white head. Quite a bland beer, light malty aroma and a light grassy flavour. Boring.

chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2006
Bottle, at Kookfest, September 2006. Thanks to Per for this one. Golden colour, with a fluffy white head. Rather lively condition producing a somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. Grassy and fruity hop aroma. Less on the palate but it’s a nice clean refreshing beer. Certainly better than your average lager.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2006
Bottle. Quite a decent lager. Light crisp, with some earthy aromatic hop/malt characters. Sweetish, spritzy, with a fruity malt character. tastes quite fresh. I quite enjoyed this, easy to drink, well made.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2006
Bottle @ Kookfest. Lagery. Herbal grassy hops. Some tasty malt too balance. Fairly clean with a good balance.

harrisoni (19189) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2006
Bottle at Kookfest 06. Pale green/gold colour with lasting white head. Fruit and grassy hop aroma. Very fizzy in mouth. Goodish lager, some citrus melon, bit of yeast. Fruit is nice, but over carbonated. OK, but a bit empty, but the fruit is good.

kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2006
Bottle (Chris_o Gathering06): Herbal, grassy nose. Golden high carb body. Nice sweet biscuity malts with a spicy belgian edge. This is pale lager?

SilkTork (5806) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2006
Kook’s Farewell Bash. Light, yeasty lager with a nip of hops. Sort of serious, but not very special.

Furseth (2165) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2006
Bottle tested 1/7-05. Golden colour, medium white foam.. with a hint of colour, mediumll creamy head. A nice lager on a hot sommer day. Nice bitter finish.
