[Bottle from Systembolaget in Uddevalla, Sweden]
Bottle. Pours a deep brown, near-black body with a small white head. Aroma is roasty mellow chocolate tones, hints of mint and dark fruits. Taste is roasty bread-like tones, licorice and coffee. Hints of burnt toast. Dry finish, medium to light mouthfeel. An OK porter, but nothing more. Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 3, 2012
330 ml bottle. Black coloured with a brown hue. Small light beige head that clings to the glass. Nice nutty chocolatey papery aroma. Soft and delicate. Sharper roasted burnt malt flavours than first appeared in the aroma. Licorice and a little salt and ash. Hop bitterness is there but hides behind the bitter ashy flavours. I quite like it.
